Kitchen 4

3 months of design work began this kitchen renovation by building an 8' x 50' addition onto the house. The addition increased the size of the living room and brought the square footage of the kitchen to 600 square feet. The additional square footage allowed for a 4' x 8' pantry and a 6' x 8' laundry room to be incorporated as part of the kitchen.

2 islands were incorporated into the design; one with seating for daily use, the other island is 9' long with lots of storage underneath and an expanse of counter with an eye towards entertaining.

A hydronic radiant heat system is overlaid with a 3-tile porcelain tile pattern.

A custom enclosure around the range hood is covered in natural slate tile to match the backsplash.

Counter tops: Madura Gold granite / high-polished Cabinets: Maple Appliances: Viking Other Details: Juno under cabinet lighting, 2-Kohler under mount, stainless steel sinks, Crown moldings cap the cabinets, 3" low voltage, halogen high hats in the ceiling.
