Honesty, integrity and talent are words that come to mind when I think about Jay Brenner. I have been a builder for 30+ years and we have worked together for the last 12. As time goes on, professionals like Jay are harder and harder to find. He was taught to work hard and offer nothing less than his best efforts.
Personally, he is a master of working with tile in any manner and demands control of all preparations, including rough framing. No one but a perfectionist is that demanding. He is a very competent woodworker and has a strong understanding of all aspects of construction - thus a builder as well. He is incredibly organized and a great communicator. If all of that is not enough, he will design as well as build your bathrooms and kitchens.

Jay Brenner is a complete professional who did a wonderful job on our bathroom. We'd called at least 6 contractors before we found Jay. Most of them didn't return our calls. The ones who did rarely showed up. Jay was right on the spot. He listened carefully to what we wanted and gave us a clear and complete picture of everything involved in the project plus an accurate estimation of the cost. When the work started, Jay came when he said he would and called if he were going to be even fifteen minutes late. The bathroom was finished in the time he'd told us for the price he'd told us. It's beautiful, and the tile work is perfect. I don't think we've ever worked with anyone better.

In previous home improvement projects over the years, I learned that "broom swept" sometimes meant that if a boom couldn't move it, the object was left sitting on the floor in the middle of the room. Working with Jay was a pleasure. At the end of each work day materials and equipment were neatly stacked out of the way. Every precaution was taken to keep the construction mess from tracking through the house. What more could you ask for!

Jay has great ideas which he brought to bear in our kitchen renovation. Initially, he was to install decorative tile, but in the process we found a myriad of other tasks for him.
